Biryani Bees: Revolutionising Indian Meals with $1 Million Funding

Biryani Bees, a brand focused on biryani and Indian cuisine, has successfully raised $1 million from the Vivek Oberoi Family Office. The brand aims to use these funds to open its first 10 outlets and validate its business model across several states.

Plans for Expansion

With the current funding, Biryani Bees plans to raise a larger institutional round that will support its national growth. The investment will also contribute to enhancing its central kitchen infrastructure, expanding the operations team, and developing a scalable expansion model.

About Biryani Bees

Founded by Nitin Tiwari, Biryani Bees uses a central-kitchen-led approach to ensure consistent food quality and pricing as the brand expands. The company boasts an annual revenue run rate of approximately Rs 25 crore and is operating profitably.

Current Operations and Future Goals

Biryani Bees currently runs three outlets in Uttar Pradesh and aims to extend this to 10 outlets across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and additional tier 2 markets. The brand has established a significant presence on food delivery platforms like Zomato and Swiggy, claiming a considerable market share for biryani in the cities where it operates.
