PRISM Reports Significant Growth in Profitability for FY26

PRISM, the parent company of OYO, has experienced a notable increase in profitability for FY26, with profit after tax rising more than fourfold to Rs 994 crore from Rs 245 crore in FY25. Revenue has grown nearly 50% year-on-year, indicating strong overall performance.

According to its annual report obtained by Startup Superb, revenue from operations for PRISM reached Rs 9,358 crore, up from Rs 6,353 crore in FY25. Additionally, the company’s EBITDA over the fiscal year more than doubled to Rs 2,594 crore. It’s important to note that this figure includes a deferred tax credit of Rs 678 crore. PRISM also faced Rs 1,414 crore in interest expenses throughout FY26.

Growth in Gross Booking Value

The gross booking value (GBV) of PRISM surged by 88.5% year-on-year to Rs 30,683 crore, driven by increased business volumes, premium and company-serviced hotels, as well as the full-year contribution from G6 Hospitality, its American motel division. In FY26, G6 Hospitality contributed Rs 14,107 crore to the GBV, a significant rise from Rs 3,529 crore in FY25. Without including G6, the hotel GBV expanded by 36.5% to Rs 10,939 crore, while the homes segment experienced growth of 19.4% to Rs 5,447 crore.

North America as a Growth Catalyst

North America has become a crucial growth driver for PRISM, particularly after G6 made its first full-year contribution following its acquisition in December 2024. PRISM has successfully integrated G6’s technology stack into its unified platform within a year, implementing AI-driven pricing and service tools across its properties.

In FY26, approximately 67% of room nights were booked through non-commissionable channels, facilitated by the OYO app and various direct channels.

Global Operations and Future Plans

PRISM continues to operate in more than 35 countries, leveraging a centralised technology and operational platform primarily developed in India. The company believes this model has enabled it to scale its international operations effectively while enhancing operating leverage.

As part of its growth strategy, PRISM is making strides towards a public listing and has submitted an Updated Draft Red Herring Prospectus-I (UDRHP-I) for a new issue of up to Rs 6,650 crore.
