Iztri: Expanding Its Fabric Care Network

The recent funding round saw notable participation from Anupam Mittal, Kunal Shah, Tanmay Bhat, Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Abhishek Goyal, the JK Tyre family office, and Shadowfax founders Abhishek Bansal and Vaibhav Khadelwal. Early investor PedalStart also took part in this funding round.

Iztri intends to utilise this new capital to broaden its network of hubs and enhance both its operational capabilities and technological infrastructure. Additionally, the startup plans to venture beyond clothes ironing, expanding into related areas such as dry cleaning and shoe care.

Overview of Iztri

Established in 2024 by Rohit Ramesh and Ankit Choudhary, Iztri commenced its operations in early 2025. The startup utilises an apartment hub model that integrates local infrastructure, skilled personnel, and technology-driven backend operations to ensure consistent service quality and rapid turnaround times.

Current Reach and Employment

Iztri presently serves over 25,000 customers in Bangalore and has generated structured employment for more than 200 blue-collar workers within its hub network. The company has ambitious plans, aiming to reach over 100,000 customers in the next six months.

Future Expansion Plans

The startup aims to strengthen its presence in southern India over the next two to three years before moving into the top five metropolitan areas across the country. This latest funding round follows a pre-seed round of $200,000 led by AJVC in 2025, alongside a $50,000 investment from PedalStart early in the same year.

Building a Local Fabric Care Network

Iztri is developing a hyper-local fabric care network, starting with clothes ironing while also planning to broaden its services to include a wider range of fabric and home care solutions. The company’s goal is to establish a foothold in India’s major five metropolitan cities over the next two years.
