Carrum Mobility Secures Funding for Expansion
Carrum Mobility, a B2B fleet management platform, has successfully secured $10 million (around Rs 96 crore) in a Series B funding round spearheaded by Uber. This marks Uber’s second investment in Carrum, which follows its initial $7 million contribution in January 2026. The newly acquired funds will be directed towards expanding presence in both existing and new regions, enhancing its technological platform, and scaling operations, as noted in a press release by Carrum Mobility.
Founded in 2024 by Karan Jain, Carrum Mobility offers fleet management solutions tailored for CNG and electric vehicles. The platform effectively utilises technology and data to optimise fleet utilisation and manage driver operations.
Since Uber’s previous investment in January 2026, Carrum Mobility has reported nearly doubling its business, a result of the increasing demand for high-quality mobility services. The company maintains a fleet of over 5,000 vehicles operating in cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata as of September 2026. Furthermore, Carrum Mobility boasts a network of over 18,000 driver partners, with operations in Chennai set to commence in September 2026.
Carrum Mobility faces competition from Everest Fleet, a fleet operator backed by Uber, which received a $20 million injection from Uber in November 2025 after previously securing $30 million in September 2024.
Carrum Mobility has asserted that it has remained profitable since its inaugural month of operations and has achieved an annualised revenue run rate of approximately Rs 400 crore within roughly two years of initiating operations.
