Fintech Expansion with Rohan Khara as Chief Product Officer at super.money
super.money has recently announced the appointment of Rohan Khara as its Chief Product Officer (CPO). This strategic move is aimed at broadening the company’s product range in payments, credit, and commerce.
In June, Startup Superb reported that Khara had resigned from his role as CPO at BharatPe. With nearly twenty years of expertise in product management, financial services, and consumer technology, Khara has held prominent positions at BharatPe, FairMoney, Gojek, and MobiKwik.
Experience of Rohan Khara in the Fintech Industry
During his tenure at BharatPe, Khara led product development for both the merchant and consumer sectors. Prior to that, he served as the Managing Director for India at FairMoney, after initially working as CPO for FairMoney in Nigeria and India.
Khara was also one of the founding members of Gojek’s financial services division in Jakarta, concentrating on developing financial products tailored for emerging markets. His background includes significant experience across India, Indonesia, and Nigeria, emphasising financial services and consumer technology solutions.
Vision for super.money
Prakash Sikaria, founder and CEO of super.money, mentioned that the company has gained substantial traction by redefining the conventional functions of a payments app. He highlighted that they are at a critical juncture where the focus is on establishing a comprehensive financial platform that benefits consumers in their payment, borrowing, and shopping processes.
Khara expressed his intention to enhance super.money’s consumer offerings and develop products centred around UPI, credit, and commerce integration. The objective is to unify payments, rewards, credit, and commerce on a single platform, enabling consumers to earn from transactions, build credit through repayment behaviours, and access improved affordability during purchasing.
super.money, backed by Flipkart, continues to operate within the digital payments and fintech landscape.
