Bewakoof Reports Impressive Growth in FY26

Bewakoof has demonstrated remarkable progress with a 40% increase in operating revenue in FY26, following a modest growth of 7% in FY25. Despite this impressive revenue gain, the losses for the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) fashion brand rose by 19% during the fiscal year that concluded in March 2026.

According to the financial statements submitted to the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Bewakoof’s operating revenue surged 40.5%, climbing to Rs 243 crore in FY26 from Rs 173 crore in FY25. The brand continues to provide trendy lifestyle fashion products for modern India, such as T-shirts, phone covers, bags, and hoodies. Revenue generated from these products has been the principal source of income throughout the year.

Cost Overview at Bewakoof

On the expense side, the cost of materials consumed represented the largest financial burden for Bewakoof, increasing by 45.7% to Rs 134 crore in FY26 from Rs 92 crore in FY25. Additionally, employee benefit expenses rose by 7.7% to Rs 28 crore, while marketing expenses jumped 26.5% to Rs 62 crore. Interestingly, costs related to transportation and handling showed a decrease of 17.1%, falling to Rs 29 crore from Rs 35 crore.

Depreciation expenses saw a dramatic surge, rising nearly threefold to Rs 16.6 crore in FY26 from Rs 6 crore in FY25. Other miscellaneous expenses also increased by 66.1%, reaching Rs 66.4 crore compared to Rs 40 crore the previous year. Overall, Bewakoof’s total expenses climbed 35.5% to Rs 336 crore in FY26 from Rs 248 crore in the prior fiscal year.

Bewakoof’s Financial Performance

Consequently, the company’s loss expanded by 19.4%, amounting to Rs 87.4 crore in FY26 compared to Rs 73.2 crore in FY25, despite the noteworthy revenue growth. However, some operational metrics showed signs of improvement. Bewakoof’s EBITDA loss narrowed slightly to Rs 59.8 crore from Rs 60.7 crore in FY25, and the EBITDA margin improved to -24.6%, up from -35.1%. The return on capital employed (ROCE) also saw enhancement, escalating to -63.4% in FY26 from -96.6% in FY25.

Examining the unit level metrics, Bewakoof spent Rs 1.38 to generate every Rs 1 of operating revenue in FY26, compared to Rs 1.43 in the previous year. By the end of FY26, its total current assets stood at Rs 91.1 crore, an increase from Rs 84.8 crore in FY25. Furthermore, cash and bank balances showed a slight rise to Rs 22 lakh from Rs 18 lakh.

Leadership Changes at Bewakoof

The year marked significant revenue growth along with a leadership transition for Bewakoof. Co-founder Prabhkiran Singh stepped down in February 2026 after serving 14 years with the enterprise, just a month before the fiscal year concluded. Singh was associated with the brand for the majority of the fiscal year during which Bewakoof achieved its 40% revenue growth.

This exit followed three years after Aditya Birla Digital Fashion Ventures (ABDFVL) acquired a majority interest in Bewakoof in February 2023. ABDFVL is an integral part of TMRW, the Aditya Birla Group’s digital-centric fashion and lifestyle initiative.
