The founder and chairman of Vedanta Group, Anil Agarwal, has acquired the iconic Riverside Studios in London, as announced in a press release on Wednesday. This historic studio, which has served as a prominent global hub for the arts for the past century, is located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. It will now be known as the ‘Anil Agarwal Riverside Studios Trust.’
Agarwal expressed his belief in the transformative power of art, stating, “Art has the ability to cross boundaries, unite people, and enhance the human experience. Riverside Studios will become a top global venue for showcasing both Indian and international arts and culture.”
He extended an invitation to Indian artists and the film community to present their artistic talents and storytelling skills at this exceptional venue, promising a truly fulfilling experience. “Global leaders from various domains will now have the opportunity to captivate audiences with their real-life stories and journeys here,” he added. Agarwal, who transformed a modest scrap metal business into the London-based Vedanta Resources, highlighted his dedication to strengthening creative endeavors and promoting cultural exchange.
