Atlys Expands with Acquisition of Artionis UK for Visa Processing
Atlys, a visa processing platform, has recently completed an all-cash acquisition of the UK branch of Artionis, a leading visa service company, aiming to enhance its international operations.
This acquisition of Artionis UK, known for managing UK-to-Russia visas, is set to bolster Atlys’ technology across Europe. Atlys has indicated that this strategic move will streamline visa paperwork and improve service delivery for UK travellers. Following this, Atlys envisions expanding its operations into other notable European markets such as Germany and France.
Artionis serves as an outsourcing partner for multiple governments, operating in 25 nations with a workforce of 400 employees across 65 locations. Atlys has specifically acquired its UK offices located in London, Edinburgh, and Manchester.
Streamlining Visa Processes with Atlys Technology
Atlys, founded four years ago, aims to simplify visa-related tasks significantly. The innovative technology that Atlys employs is designed to lower visa rejection rates and can quicken processing times to as fast as 55 seconds. The platform covers over 150 destinations, allowing users to complete visa applications in an average timeframe of just 4-10 minutes.
Global Expansion of Atlys
Atlys has successfully extended its presence in essential global markets, including the US, UAE, and the UK. Moreover, the company has strengthened its leadership teams across product development, engineering, and marketing sectors.
In September 2024, Atlys also raised $20 million in a Series B funding round, co-led by Peak XV Partners and Elevation Capital, further enhancing its capabilities and reach.
