Bajaj Auto Dominates Electric Two-Wheeler Sales in October 2025
Bajaj Auto has emerged as the leading electric two-wheeler seller in October 2025, achieving a market share of 21.69%. The overall market for electric two-wheelers saw an impressive rise of over 37% month-on-month, with total sales reaching 1.43 lakh units in October, up from 1.05 lakh units in September.
Surge in Bajaj Auto Sales
According to Vahan data, Bajaj Auto experienced a remarkable increase of nearly 60% in electric two-wheeler registrations, climbing to 31,168 units in October from 19,689 units in the previous month.
TVS Motor’s Performance
TVS Motor fell to second place in October with 29,484 registrations, translating to a 20.52% market share. Despite this shift, the company benefited from festive demand and achieved a healthy 30% growth month-on-month.
Ather Energy Maintains Strong Position
Ather Energy held its third position in October, rebounding from stagnant growth the previous month. The company recorded a robust 53% increase in registrations, reaching 28,061 units and securing a solid 19.53% market share. Ather’s shares finished the trading session at Rs 688.75, amounting to a market valuation of Rs 26,194.83 crore (roughly $2.97 billion), surpassing Ola Electric in terms of market capitalization.
Ola Electric’s Recovery
After facing a 30% month-on-month decline in September, Ola Electric rebounded in October due to festive demand, nearly achieving 20% growth with 16,034 registrations, holding an 11.16% market share. However, this is a significant decrease from about 30% a year prior. Ola Electric’s shares were priced at Rs 50.24, giving it a market valuation of Rs 22,160 crore ($2.51 billion).
Other Key Players
Hero MotoCorp secured its fifth place with an 11.09% market share, registering 15,934 units in October. Greaves Electric Mobility ranked sixth, recording an impressive month-on-month growth of 78.5% and expanding its market share to 5.31%. BGAUSS also saw a positive trend with a 29% increase in sales of its electric scooters.
Emerging Companies in the Market
IPO-bound Pure EV and River Mobility took the 8th and 9th positions with market shares of 1.19% and 1.11%, respectively. In an impressive turnaround, Revolt Motors moved past Kinetic Green to break into the top 10, achieving a strong 92% month-on-month growth in October.
