EaseMyTrip, an online travel aggregator (OTA), reported a marginal year-on-year decrease in its revenue and profit for the fourth quarter of FY25, suggesting a period of stagnant growth.
Financial Overview for Q4 FY25
EaseMyTrip’s operating revenue fell by 15% to Rs 139 crore in Q4 FY25, down from Rs 164 crore in Q4 FY24, according to the company’s consolidated financial statements submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Annual Revenue Performance
For the entire fiscal year (FY25), EaseMyTrip’s operating revenue remained relatively unchanged at Rs 587 crore compared to Rs 590 crore in FY24.
Revenue Breakdown
Air ticketing was the largest contributor, making up 68% of the company’s revenue, although it experienced a 28% dip to Rs 94 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 132 crore in Q4 FY24. Furthermore, hotel packages represented 16.5% of the overall revenue, generating Rs 23 crore.
Expenditure Analysis
Total expenses for EaseMyTrip rose by 12% to Rs 131 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 117 crore in Q4 FY24. Major costs contributing to this increase included service costs, payment gateways, employee benefits, and advertising expenses. Over the entire fiscal year ending March 2025, total expenses surged to Rs 460 crore.
Profit Before Tax (PBT)
EaseMyTrip recorded a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 12 crore in Q4 FY25, an improvement from a loss of Rs 17 crore in Q4 FY24. For FY25, the firm’s profit before tax was documented at Rs 143 crore, up from Rs 142 crore in FY24.
