Edgehax Initiates Growth with Rs 1.39 Crore Seed Funding
Edgehax, a pioneering Edge AI computing startup, has successfully secured Rs 1.39 crore in seed funding from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). This funding is aimed at bolstering manufacturing capabilities, expediting new product innovations, and venturing into international markets such as Singapore, the US, and Europe.
About Edgehax
Established in 2025 by Prabhu Stavarmath and Savitri Patil, Edgehax specializes in creating modular edge hardware that integrates computing, connectivity, and storage within a single board. The startup’s platform empowers startups, OEMs, and large enterprises to develop hardware products more quickly without depending on overseas supply chains.
Impact on Education and Industry
Edgehax is currently providing services to over 150 enterprises and has distributed development kits to more than 100,000 students and faculty members across 30 universities and IITs, thus playing a significant role in India’s skilling ecosystem. The hardware produced by Edgehax is utilized in various applications, including industrial gateways, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, drones, defence systems, and 4G/5G connectivity solutions. Its proprietary operating system, DvarOS, supports industrial edge gateways.
Recent Achievements
Recently, Edgehax earned the title of winner in the NXP Silicon Seeds Startup Program 2025 for its initiative to develop low-cost Edge AI compute modules aimed at automotive and consumer IoT sectors. Additionally, the startup was honoured with the MeitY Bhashini Startup Velocity 1.0 award, reflecting its commitment to innovation.

Edgehax faces competition from global leaders such as NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm Robotics RB5, and Raspberry Pi, positioning itself as a formidable player in the Edge AI hardware market.
