Haryana’s Commitment to Boost Startup Ecosystem
On Saturday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini convened a meeting with startup entrepreneurs, emphasising the government’s dedication to establishing the state as a flourishing startup hub. “The government is making dedicated efforts to position Haryana as a prominent player in the national startup ecosystem, aligning with the objectives of Make in India and Startup India,” Saini stated in an official announcement.
Driving Economic Growth and Job Creation
He highlighted that the initiative aims to:
- Stimulate economic growth
- Create new employment opportunities for youth
- Establish Haryana as a centre of innovation and entrepreneurship nationwide
Moreover, the Chief Minister called for a significant increase in the number of startups within the state, urging entrepreneurs to commit to actively supporting the development of new ventures. This collaborative effort is essential for:

Saini mentioned that the state government is exploring new initiatives to promote startups in the upcoming 2025-26 budget. These planned initiatives will aim to:

In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, the Chief Minister underscored the government’s focus on making Haryana a developed state. Saini acknowledged the potential of startups to significantly bolster traditional industries. Regarding the 2025-26 state budget, the Haryana government is actively seeking suggestions from the public, industrialists, and other stakeholders through consultation meetings. This approach aims to formulate a budget that supports the welfare of all citizens and ensures inclusive development in Haryana.
He also invited startup entrepreneurs to share their ideas, assuring them that their input will be considered in the budget planning process. Based on the insights gathered, new schemes will be developed to enhance the startup landscape in Haryana.
