HungerBox Achieves Remarkable Growth in FY25

HungerBox has successfully closed FY25 with a notable increase in order volumes and an expanded cafeteria network. The company’s dedication to operational effectiveness and technology-driven cafeteria management has greatly enhanced its financial and operational outcomes throughout the year.

Financial Performance of HungerBox

During FY25, HungerBox experienced a 26% rise in revenue, reaching Rs 82 crore, an increase from Rs 65 crore in FY24, as per the latest company disclosure. HungerBox is recognised as a full-stack food technology enterprise providing comprehensive solutions that cater to the food and beverage requirements of corporate clients. Its revenue model involves charging a commission based on food sales from partnered vendors.

Order Volumes and Transaction Growth

The organisation reported a total order volume increase of 27%, climbing to 14 crore in FY25 from 11 crore in FY24. In addition, its gross transaction value (GTV) surged by 33%, escalating to Rs 885.9 crore, compared to Rs 663.3 crore in FY24, according to official company statements.

EBITDA Performance

The Bengaluru-based firm saw an impressive 47% growth in EBITDA year-on-year, rising to Rs 9.2 crore in FY25 from Rs 6.24 crore the previous year. HungerBox is optimistic about sustaining its growth trajectory, setting a target of over Rs 1,200 crore in GTV for FY26.

Funding and Future Prospects

HungerBox, as revealed by various sources, has successfully raised $32 million in funding, with Paytm and Sabre Partners leading the investment. The company’s co-founders, Sandipan Mitra and Uttam Kumar, hold 17% of the capital structure.
