Good Monk Achieves Rs 25 Crore Funding Boost
Good Monk, which is the prominent brand of Superfoods Valley, is set to secure an additional Rs 25 crore ($2.7 million) in funding. This investment is spearheaded by existing investor RPSG Capital Ventures and includes participation from Sharrp Ventures, among others. This funding acts as an extension of the company’s pre-Series A round, following its prior raise of $2 million in April of last year, also led by RPSG Ventures and supported by Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate.
The board of Good Monk has approved the issuance of 3,334 pre-Series A4 CCPS at a price of Rs 74,652.86 per share to accumulate the funds mentioned earlier, as indicated in filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). RPSG Capital Ventures is set to lead this funding injection with Rs 15.8 crore, while Sharrp Ventures will contribute Rs 4.5 crore. Additional investments will come from Aashray Family Trust and angel investors Manmohan Singh, Srivar Harlalka, and Narinder Sawhney.
Startup Superb’s analysis reveals that the company’s valuation is expected to increase over 2.7 times, rising to Rs 175 crore from Rs 64 crore in the previous funding round. The capital raised will be directed towards scaling operations and expanding the business further.

The Bengaluru-based company has successfully raised nearly $3 million before this current funding round. Recently, Good Monk featured on Shark Tank Season 4, where it secured a deal with Vineeta Singh, the co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics.
Post-investment, RPSG Capital Ventures will possess a 19.78% stake in Good Monk, while Sharrp Ventures will hold 6.81%. The co-founders of Good Monk will maintain a collective stake of approximately 40.18%.
As a key player in the health and wellness sector, RPSG Capital has invested in various startups, including Nutrabay, Plix, and True Elements.
