Make in Box (MIB), a deep-tech startup, has successfully obtained $260,000 in a pre-Series funding round spearheaded by Mile Deep Works and its associated entity, Mile Deep Capital. The newly acquired funds will be directed towards the advancement of decentralized supply chains and the creation of mobile smart factory technologies, prominently featuring its key product, Mfreezer, as stated in a press release.
About Make in Box
Established in 2020 by Ullas Esturi, Make in Box (MIB) is dedicated to the development of smart factories and agritech solutions. The startup integrates artificial intelligence alongside mobile smart factory technologies with the aim of decentralizing supply chains. This initiative seeks to enhance manufacturing efficiency across a range of industries, including auto ancillary, aerospace, defence, construction, inland fisheries, and agriculture.
MIB’s Innovative Approach to Production
MIB strives to transform industrial manufacturing by reducing capital expenditures while maximising efficiency and promoting sustainability. Its innovative mobile smart factories are designed to narrow the gap between supply and demand, providing localised and accessible manufacturing solutions that stimulate economic growth and drive technological advancement.
Flagship Product: Mfreezer
MIB’s leading product, Mfreezer, employs cutting-edge mobile IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) technology to flash-freeze produce directly at the source. This process not only preserves the quality of food but also enhances the efficiency of supply chains. MIB’s innovation aims to contribute significantly to the efficiency and sustainability of the frozen food industry.
