Farm Management Software MapMyCrop Secures $1.8 Million in Funding
Farm management software MapMyCrop has successfully secured $1.8 million in a seed funding round, primarily driven by YourNest Venture Capital, along with participation from notable angel investors, such as Eaglewings Ventures. This funding initiative is a segment of the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024.
This startup previously raised an undisclosed sum during the same funding round from Startup Wise Guys among others.
The funds acquired will be directed towards amplifying operations, fulfilling pilot orders, reinforcing the sales and operations team, and enhancing the technology of their platform, as stated by MapMyCrop in an official press release.

Founded in 2021 by Swapnil Jadhav and Rajesh Shirole, MapMyCrop stands out as the first complete 360-degree imagery agro suite, consolidating crucial agricultural data into a single, intuitive platform. This platform is designed to make precision farming accessible to farmers of all sizes. It integrates satellite imagery, IoT, and AI-driven insights, enabling farmers and enterprises to monitor, predict, and optimise crop health with exceptional accuracy.
Currently, MapMyCrop asserts that it supports over 4.7 million farmers worldwide and partners with organisations, including the US FDA, to enhance crop monitoring and sustainability efforts. The company is also gearing up to introduce new tools, such as an AI-based farm credit scoring system and a specialised forest monitoring solution.
