Founder-Investor Fusion: Empowering Startups Through PedalStart
Founder-Investor Fusion is a flagship event series hosted by startup accelerator PedalStart, which has recently wrapped up its multi-city offline events.
Overview of the Event Series
The invite-only gatherings brought together more than 350 participants from cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Gurugram. This noteworthy series saw the participation of over 220 angel investors and High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs). More than 90 new and emerging startups at various stages gained valuable learning and networking opportunities, while soft commitments totaling Rs 6 crore were secured for six startups that presented their pitches actively.
Objective of Founder-Investor Fusion
Initiated in March this year, Founder-Investor Fusion strives to empower early-stage startups, particularly those in the proof of concept to early revenue stages. It simultaneously provides a platform for selected investors to explore investment opportunities in the most promising startups across the nation. The event cultivated strong engagement and served as a formidable platform for startups, with six of them pitching to secure additional funding.
Featured Startups
Among the innovative ventures that took the spotlight were Flowwat, InsightAI, Shoegr, Bull Agritech, Iztri, and Oopar Club. These startups showcased their innovative contributions and growth strategies to a receptive audience of investors.
PedalStart’s Mission
As outlined by PedalStart, the primary goal of this series is to close the gap between promising early-stage startups and the necessary resources, including strategic capital, mentorship, and ecosystem access, which they require for success. The series kicked off in Bengaluru in March 2025 with over 60 participants, including founders from PedalStart’s portfolio. This was followed by chapters in Hyderabad and Mumbai, which collectively attracted more than 150 angel investors and startup founders. The concluding event, recently held at DLF Cyber Park in Gurugram, saw participation from over 20 promising startup founders and 100 investors.
Insights from PedalStart’s Co-Founders
Manas Pal and Aditya Darolia, co-founders of PedalStart, remarked that the Fusion events provided significant value to both founders and investors through live pitches and strategic networking. They expressed pride in the overwhelming support and involvement from the startup community across the country.
