Peppermint Robotics Secures Series A Funding for Growth and Expansion
Peppermint Robotics has successfully raised Rs 34 crore (~$4 million) through its Series A funding round with investments from JDSS, Enrsion INDIA CAPITAL, IAN, Vinners, and various angel investors.
Peppermint made its entry into the US market in 2024, and this new funding increases its total capital raised to Rs 49 crore (~$5.6 million). The company has plans to introduce a restroom cleaning robot by 2025–2026.
The funds will facilitate the company’s expansion into the EU, Japan, and Asia-Pacific regions by 2026. Additionally, the capital will help in enhancing its technology, fortifying product offerings, and scaling infrastructure to cater to the rising demand.
Peppermint Robotics: Background and Mission
Founded in 2019 by Runal Dahiwade, this innovative company operates across six countries. Its primary objective is to counteract labor shortages and improve operational efficiency through robots powered by Peppermint OS, along with a bespoke electronics framework known as “Skateboard.”
Product Offerings and Market Presence
Peppermint Robotics specializes in developing autonomous cleaning and material-handling robots designed for both commercial and industrial applications. The Pune-based company reported an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 18 crore (~$2.2 million) and has more than 180 active enterprise users spanning various sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, and commercial real estate.
