Quick Clean Secures Rs 50 Crore in Series A Funding for Linen Management
Quick Clean is making headlines with its recent achievement of raising Rs 50 crore (approximately $5.7 million) in a Series A funding round. The round was co-led by Alkemi Growth Capital and Blue Ashva Capital, and additionally saw an investment of Rs 10 crore (around $1.15 million) in the form of a credit line from Venture Debt Cos.
Previously, the company had received $188K from Deepan Exim and other investors. The newly acquired funds are aimed at expanding Quick Clean’s operations within the healthcare and hospitality sectors, as stated in the company’s press release.
About Quick Clean’s Journey
Established in 2010 by Anshul Gupta and Ankur Gupta, Quick Clean initially focused on introducing coin-operated laundromats. Over time, it evolved into an importer and distributor of commercial laundry equipment. In its inaugural year, the company successfully launched 45 franchises and partnered with leading technology providers such as Electrolux Professional, Trevil, and Rennai, among other global brands.
Current Presence and Achievements
Based in Gurugram, Quick Clean serves a diverse client base across 36 cities in India, supported by a skilled team of over 750 professionals. The company has reported an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 80 crore.
Impact on the Industry
With an impressive installation of over 3,000 machines in more than 120 five-star hotels and leading healthcare chains, including renowned names like Taj, Marriott, Fairmont, ITC, Radisson, AIIMS, PMCH, and others, Quick Clean continues to make significant strides in the linen management sector. The company claims to have processed over 600 million kg of linen, saving 210 million liters of water — equivalent to the daily water needs of 1.5 million households — while also reducing carbon emissions by 60 million kg.
