Artificial Intelligence cybersecurity startup Repello has successfully raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Venture Highway, Pi Ventures, and Entrepreneur First. The investment also saw participation from prominent angel investors, including Meta board member Charles Songhurst, Sarvam AI CEO Vivek Raghavan, and Satya Vas. The funds will be allocated to enhance product capabilities, advance research in offensive testing simulations, and boost global outreach.
Founded in 2024 by Aryaman Behera and Naman Mishra, Repello is dedicated to protecting generative AI platforms against ever-evolving attack vectors. While the development and innovation teams are located in Bengaluru, the startup manages its commercial and customer-facing operations from San Francisco.
Repello’s Key Offerings
The flagship product of Repello, ARTEMIS (Automated Red Teaming Engine for Mapping, Identification, and Scanning), simulates large-scale attack scenarios across text, visual, and audio dimensions to uncover vulnerabilities in Generative AI systems. In addition to ARTEMIS, Repello provides Repello Guard, a real-time security framework that monitors AI models during their deployment, identifying threats such as prompt injections, inappropriate content, and sensitive data leaks.
Expanding International Presence
North America stands out as Repello’s most dynamic market, driven by rapid AI adoption. The company is also gaining traction in regions like the Middle East, highlighting its growing international presence.
