Snabbit Secures Funding for Expansion in On-Demand Home Services
Snabbit, a provider of on-demand home services, has successfully obtained £19 million in a funding round led by Lightspeed. This funding round also included participation from existing investors Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners.
This new capital comes just four months after Snabbit’s previous £5.5 million Series A funding round. The Mumbai-based startup is now the second company to close two funding rounds in 2025, following Slikk. Notably, Lightspeed and Nexus Venture Partners are investors in both startups.
Snabbit currently operates in 10 micro-markets, and with this latest funding, the company aims to expand into over 200 micro-markets in the next nine months. Additionally, the startup plans to make considerable investments in team development to support this aggressive growth plan.
Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, Snabbit links households with skilled professionals for on-demand home jobs. Customers can book services by the hour, with experts arriving within 15 minutes to assist with chores such as cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry.
Agarwal, who previously held the position of chief of staff at quick commerce platform Zepto, stated that Snabbit currently has over 600 professionals on its platform, with the figure doubling each month. He also mentioned that professionals using the platform can earn significantly more than through traditional offline channels.
Although IPO-bound Urban Company has long been the leader in this sector with minimal direct competition, the on-demand home services market is experiencing a surge in activity due to the entrance and funding of new players. For example, a similar startup, Pronto, recently secured £2 million from Bain Capital and is reportedly in talks for another funding round.
