Nazara Technologies Limited Announces COO Resignation
Nazara Technologies Limited has made an announcement regarding the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer, Sudhir Kamath, who will officially leave his position on April 1, 2025. This update was shared in an official filing with BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
Reason for Resignation
According to the company’s statement, Kamath has chosen to resign in order to move back to his hometown and dedicate more time to his family.

In his letter of resignation addressed to Nitish Mittersain, the Managing Director of Nazara Technologies, Kamath expressed his appreciation for his time at the company, emphasising the valuable experiences gained while collaborating with the leadership team and various subsidiaries.
Kamath’s Background
Prior to his role at Nazara, which he joined in October 2022, Kamath was the co-founder and CEO of 9stacks, where he spent over five years leading the company.
Future Leadership and Company Performance
In light of Kamath’s resignation, Nazara is anticipated to announce his successor in the near future. Concurrently, the company reported a significant increase in operating revenue, which surged by 67% to Rs 535 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 320 crore during Q3 FY24. Nevertheless, despite this growth in revenue, the company’s profits experienced a notable decrease, dropping by 53.6% year-on-year to Rs 13.7 crore in Q3 FY25 compared to Rs 29.5 crore in Q3 FY24.
