Tribe Stays Secures $2.8 Million for Expansion of Managed Accommodation
Tribe Stays has successfully raised $2.8 million (Rs 24 crore) in a seed funding round, co-led by Artha Venture Fund and Riverwalk Holdings. Notable participation also came from Kunal Khanna, Krishna Jain, and various high-net-worth individuals and family offices. The funds will be allocated to broaden its offerings under three distinct sub-brands: Tribe Student Accommodation, Tribe Commune, and Tribe Suites.
Growth Plans for Tribe Stays
Currently managing 650 beds in Pune, Tribe Stays is set to increase its capacity by adding another 1,000 beds in this financial year. The ultimate ambition is to expand to a total of 25,000 beds in major tier I and tier II cities, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram, and Pune.
