Xflow: B2B Cross-Border Payments Startup Achieves $16.6 Million in Series A Funding
B2B cross-border payments startup Xflow has successfully secured $16.6 million in a Series A funding round, achieving a valuation of $85 million. General Catalyst led the round, with additional investments from existing backers including Square Peg, Stripe, Lightspeed, and Moore Capital. Notably, PayPal Ventures entered as a new investor.
The Bengaluru-based company has now raised a total of $32 million, including a $10.2 million pre-Series A funding round completed in May 2023. Xflow plans to utilise the new funds to enhance its operational capabilities and expand into additional geographical markets, as noted in a recent press release.
Xflow’s Founders and Vision
The co-founders of Xflow, Anand Balaji, Ashwin Bhatnagar, and Abhijit Chandrasekaran, aim to provide innovative cross-border payment solutions tailored for small and medium enterprises, including ITES firms and startups with external funding. The company concentrates on increasing efficiency and ensuring compliance in international transactions, catering to a range of clients from freelancers and startups to larger corporations.
Licenses and Regulatory Approval
The PA-CB Imports licence enables Xflow to assist overseas merchants and payment aggregators, while the PA-CB Exports licence bolsters the company’s current services. In 2025, Xflow reported significant growth, expanding its product offerings and customer base to nearly 15,000 users encompassing SaaS companies, GCCs, IT service exporters, and goods exporters. The company also supplies international payments infrastructure to fintech organisations such as Drip Capital and Easebuzz.
Global Payment Capabilities
In 2025, Xflow empowered Indian businesses to collect payments from over 100 countries, facilitating transactions in more than 25 different currencies. According to the company, its FX AI Analyst tool assists businesses in making informed treasury decisions, enhancing foreign exchange results. Currently, Xflow serves over 10,000 businesses and has facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions.
