Rachit Ranjan’s Experience
Ranjan possesses over 15 years of extensive experience in public policy and regulatory positions. His prior leadership roles include significant contributions at Dream11, WhatsApp, JUUL Labs, and Uber. At Uber, Ranjan was the Head of Policy for North India and Federal Affairs, where he concentrated on government relations and regulatory frameworks.

Zepto operates a quick commerce platform that offers over 25,000 products across various categories, ensuring delivery within just 10 minutes via its network of dark stores. The company has attracted considerable investment, securing a noteworthy $340 million funding round in August 2024, raising its total funding to $1.85 billion.
Headquarters Relocation and IPO Plans
In a strategic move, Zepto has completed a reverse merger to shift its headquarters from Singapore to India. This relocation aims to facilitate the company’s upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO).
New Initiatives and Financial Developments
Zepto recently introduced ‘Zepto Atom,’ a subscription-based consumer analytics service, marking its entry into the data analytics industry. Furthermore, the company is reportedly in the process of finalising a Rs 1,500 crore structured debt deal to repurchase shares from foreign investors, thereby increasing Indian ownership prior to its planned IPO.
