ZeroMobit Secures Funding for Student Mobility Innovation
Student mobility platform ZeroMobit has successfully raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round. This round was co-led by JioMart’s CEO Sandeep Varaganti, Ashok Agrawal, along with several high-net-worth individuals. The investment will aid in fast-tracking the development of its AI-enabled technology, increase operational capabilities, and enhance its infrastructure roadmap, as stated in a press release by ZeroMobit.

Established in April 2024 by Vijay Ganagam and Alfred Lazarus, ZeroMobit presents a comprehensive student mobility platform that unifies logistics, safety, discovery, tracking, and subscription-based services. The startup aims to expand its reach across major educational hubs within India and is concurrently focused on AI-enhanced route optimisation and compliance automation.
Innovative Technology and Expansion Plans
ZeroMobit is developing decentralised intelligence layers leveraging Edge AI to facilitate real-time safety monitoring, route optimisation, and enhance operational resilience. The company aims to broaden its campus partnerships, fleet capacity, and compliance infrastructure in cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Mumbai.
Strong Partnerships and Operational Success
The company reports partnerships with over 15 educational institutions and maintains a compliance-driven student mobility model. To date, ZeroMobit has successfully completed 3.4 lakh student trips across 147 pincodes in Hyderabad and is in the process of onboarding more institutions in the area. The fleet network comprises more than 3,000 vehicles, ensuring full compliance coverage.
