Acer’s Copilot+ AI Innovations at Computex 2025
Acer took centre stage at Computex 2025, presenting an extensive range of new offerings across various categories. The emphasis was on artificial intelligence, immersive experiences, and smart mobility. The company unveiled its latest Copilot+ AI laptops, next-generation gaming monitors, wearables, and e-mobility solutions, showcasing a diverse innovation strategy.
AI-Enhanced Aspire Laptops Expand the Copilot+ PC Range
The latest addition to Acer’s Copilot+ PC portfolio includes six new Aspire AI laptops, available in 14 and 16-inch variants. These devices are tailored for the needs of students, professionals, and families, merging sleek aluminium designs with the capability for local AI tasks and excellent battery life.
The Aspire AI series incorporates a variety of processors, including Intel Core Ultra, AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series, and Snapdragon X, providing configuration flexibility. Each laptop supports up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSDs. Additionally, they boast high-resolution WUXGA+ OLED displays that have earned VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification. Models featuring Intel and AMD chipsets also support the latest in connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
As part of the Copilot+ range, these laptops embrace Microsoft’s cutting-edge AI features such as Recall, Click to Do, and Enhanced Windows Search. Acer’s proprietary suite of AI tools also enhances user productivity, content creation, and video conferencing capabilities.
Predator QD-OLED and Nitro Monitors Lead Display Innovation
In the realm of gaming, Acer introduced two advanced 27-inch Predator QD-OLED monitors: the Predator X27U F5, featuring an impressive 500Hz refresh rate at WQHD resolution, and the Predator X27 X, which provides 4K visuals at 240Hz. Both models come equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Delta E.
Additionally, Acer expanded its Nitro monitor lineup with two Google TV-enabled smart displays: the Nitro GA321QK P (31.5-inch, 4K UHD) and the Nitro GA341CUR W0 (34-inch, ultrawide QHD). These displays offer a blend of entertainment and casual gaming features, supporting refresh rates of up to 240 Hz and delivering vibrant sRGB colour accuracy.
For portability, the Acer Nitro PG271K offers 4K resolution in a slim form factor, providing Full HD at 144Hz with IPS technology and versatile setup options.
AI-Powered Wearables: FreeSense Ring and TransBuds
Acer made a significant foray into AI-powered wearables with the introduction of the FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds. The FreeSense Ring, crafted from a lightweight titanium alloy, provides continuous health tracking capabilities, including heart rate, HRV, SpO2, and sleep monitoring. Data is processed through a companion app, which offers insights without necessitating a subscription.
Additionally, the AI TransBuds are innovative earbuds that facilitate real-time translation across 15 languages. Remarkably, only one user needs to wear the earbuds for effective two-way communication, making them perfect for meetings, travel, and live interpretation situations. The earbuds also come equipped with transcription and captioning technology.
E-Mobility Expansions with Smart Scooters and Bikes
Acer’s smart mobility sector unveiled an updated range of e-scooters and e-bikes, including the Predator Storm and Thunder eScooter Series, along with the Predator eRanger fat-tire e-bike. With motors between 400 W and 500 W, these vehicles feature app-based ride tracking, safety management, and adaptive braking systems, catering to both urban commuters and leisure riders.
