Airtel SIM Card Delivery in 10 Minutes
Airtel SIM card delivery has reached a new milestone with a partnership between Bharti Airtel and quick commerce platform Blinkit. This innovative service allows customers to receive their SIM cards at their doorstep in just ten minutes. Currently, this initiative operates in 16 cities, and there are plans for further growth.
How to Order Your Airtel SIM Card
Through this collaboration, acquiring an Airtel SIM card is as simple as placing an order. Customers can request delivery of either a new prepaid or postpaid connection, as well as the ability to port their existing number to the Airtel network. There is a convenience fee of ₹49 for this expedited service. After delivery, users can activate their SIM using an Aadhaar-based KYC authentication process.
Support and Activation Process
To ensure a smooth activation experience, customers will have access to an online link and instructional video. Assistance is also provided via the Airtel Thanks app, and new customers can contact support through a dedicated helpline number. It is important for customers to activate their SIM cards within 15 days of delivery to keep them valid.
Company Statements on the Initiative
Siddharth Sharma, CEO of Connected Homes and Director of Marketing at Bharti Airtel, highlighted that this initiative is designed to enhance customer experiences. The plan to collaborate with Blinkit for quick SIM card delivery will facilitate convenience for customers in 16 cities, with aspirations to expand the service further.
