Asus Unveils ExpertBook P Series Laptops in India

Asus is set to launch the ExpertBook P Series laptops in India, specifically designed for business and professional environments. The new lineup features the ExpertBook P1, P3, and P5 models, all leveraging Intel processors along with AI functionalities, military-grade durability, and enterprise-friendly attributes. Starting from 21 April, these models will exclusively be available on Flipkart.

Performance and Design of the ExpertBook P Series

The ExpertBook P Series is tailored to fulfill the demands of professionals and small enterprises, emphasizing aspects such as performance, battery longevity, security, and exceptional after-sales support. The P5 model is powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processors, whereas the P1 and P3 variants accommodate up to the 13th Gen Intel Core i7 H-series chips. Each model is designed with high-speed RAM options (LPDDR5X or DDR5), dual SSD slots, and PCIe Gen 4 storage capabilities across its range.

Display Quality and Visual Experience

Each laptop features Wide View IPS displays, delivering varying resolutions from Full HD in the P1 model to a stunning 2.5K in the P5. All models maintain a brightness threshold of at least 300 nits, with the P5 and P3 designed to provide a 16:10 aspect ratio and brightness levels reaching up to 400 nits, which significantly enhances productivity and visual clarity.

A key highlight of the ExpertBook P Series is its robust durability. The laptops adhere to US military-grade MIL-STD 810H standards and have successfully undergone over 20 stringent internal durability tests by Asus. These rigorous tests assess hinge resilience, pressure resistance, and the spill-proof capabilities of the keyboards. Constructed with reinforced metal chassis and robust ports, the devices have also been evaluated for hinge longevity through 50,000 open-close cycles and the top lid can withstand a pressure of up to 30kgs.

Security Features in ExpertBook Laptops

Security remains a top priority for the ExpertBook P Series, featuring enterprise-level options such as a self-healing BIOS, TPM 2.0 encryption, privacy shields for webcams, and alerts for chassis intrusion. Standard features also include biometric login options alongside a one-year subscription to McAfee+ Premium to bolster protection against threats.

Battery Life and Charging Capabilities

Battery performance is another essential aspect that has been enhanced in the ExpertBook lineup. The laptops come with batteries of up to 63Wh, promising a remarkable runtime of up to 20 hours for the P5 model, as stated by Asus. They are compatible with full-range USB-C charging (5V–24V) and come with a 65W charger, which can also power other USB-C devices.

AI Integration for Improved Collaboration

Asus has incorporated various AI-powered tools in the ExpertBook series to facilitate better remote collaboration. These tools include noise cancellation driven by AI, camera features that optimize lighting and offer background blur, and the Asus AI ExpertMeet platform. This platform supports real-time meeting transcription, translated subtitles, and watermarking functionalities for secure content sharing.

The ExpertBook P Series will be exclusively available for purchase on Flipkart.
