HMD Introduces New Devices in India: HMD Vibe 5G, HMD 101 4G, and HMD 102 4G

The launch of the HMD Vibe 5G, HMD 101 4G, and HMD 102 4G demonstrates HMD’s commitment to expanding its device offerings in India. These new models cater to a diverse array of consumer preferences, ranging from budget-friendly 5G smartphones to reliable 4G feature phones.

HMD Vibe 5G: Budget-Friendly 5G Smartphone for New Users

The HMD Vibe 5G signifies the company’s entry into the affordable 5G smartphone market. This model boasts a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, alongside a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing 8MP camera ensures excellent selfies. Powered by a Unisoc T760 6nm octa-core processor and running on Android 15, users can expect two years of quarterly security updates.

Additional specifications include 4GB of RAM, complemented by 4GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The device supports 5G connectivity across nine bands and is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that features 18W fast charging. It also includes a dedicated notification light and is accompanied by a one-year replacement guarantee.

HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G: Essential Feature Phones

The HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G are tailored for users seeking dependable and straightforward devices with essential features and 4G connectivity. Both models are equipped with a 2-inch QQVGA display, USB Type-C support, Bluetooth, dual SIM capabilities, and a 1,000mAh battery. They allow for up to 32GB of external storage and include FM radio, an MP3 player, cloud apps, and local language support.

Designed with user-friendly large buttons, a torch, and a lanyard hole, the HMD 101 4G is available in Dark Blue, Red, and Blue options. The HMD 102 4G is offered in Dark Blue, Red, and Purple, featuring a QVGA camera with flash and a colour-matched keypad. Each model includes a one-year replacement guarantee.

Pricing and Availability

The HMD Vibe 5G is launched at an introductory price of ₹8,999. Meanwhile, the HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G are priced at ₹1,899 and ₹2,199, respectively. Customers can purchase all three devices through leading retail outlets, major e-commerce platforms, and HMD.com starting from 11 September 2025.
