HP Launches AI-Enabled Laptops in India: OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3

HP has unveiled its latest collection of AI-enabled laptops in India with the introduction of the OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3 series. These devices are positioned as the company’s most budget-friendly AI PC offerings to date, designed to meet the needs of students, professionals, and everyday users looking for dependable performance along with advanced AI features.

Powerful AI Performance

The HP OmniBook 5 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor, whereas the OmniBook 3 series features AMD’s newest Ryzen AI 300 processors. Both series are enhanced with dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs), capable of processing up to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS), allowing for seamless AI-driven experiences during video calls, productivity applications, and overall system performance.

Vineet Gehani, Senior Director of Personal Systems at HP India, stated that the launch of the HP OmniBook next-gen AI PCs is designed to make AI technology more accessible to a broader audience. OmniBook 5 (14-inch)

This model is powered by the Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 processor and boasts the longest battery life in the ultra-slim category, lasting up to 34 hours. It includes a 2K OLED display, Windows Studio Effects with AI-enhanced auto framing, and HP Audio Boost 2.0 for an improved multimedia experience.

OmniBook 3 (Available in 14 and 15.6-inch Variants)

These models use AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors and support AI-powered collaboration tools such as Windows Studio Effects, HP True Vision cameras, and dual microphones with noise cancellation. The 15.6-inch version features a larger display with an impressive 85% screen-to-body ratio.

All models offer on-device AI functionalities including the HP AI Companion, integrated Copilot+ with a dedicated key, and various connectivity options like USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI.

The laptops come in a sleek Glacier Silver finish and are available for purchase through HP’s online store and various retail locations. The starting price is ₹75,999 for the OmniBook 5 (14-inch) model, while both the 14-inch and 15.6-inch OmniBook 3 models start at ₹69,999.
