Intel Unveils New AI Products at Computex 2025
At Computex 2025, Intel proudly unveiled an array of innovative products geared toward professionals in AI, data centres, and edge computing, celebrating four decades of partnership with Taiwan’s technology landscape.
The announcements, made prior to the official opening of the trade show on 20 May, feature two new professional-grade GPUs – the Intel Arc Pro B50 and B60 – alongside enhanced deployment options for the Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerator platform and the launch of its AI Assistant Builder tool on GitHub.
Arc Pro B-Series GPUs for Workstations and AI Inference
Intel’s newly launched Arc Pro B50 and B60 graphics cards are crafted to meet the escalating demand for AI inference and workstation efficiency. These GPUs come equipped with increased video memory and provide extensive software support to improve compatibility with various professional applications.
The Arc Pro B60 aims to deliver superior AI inference capabilities for workstations, featuring larger VRAM and aspiring to balance performance and value within its market. In contrast, the Arc Pro B50 targets high-volume design and engineering sectors, focusing on achieving competitive performance at a more budget-friendly price.
Furthermore, Intel previewed a flexible AI development platform, codenamed Project Battlematrix, which can accommodate up to eight Arc Pro B60 GPUs and provide a total of 192GB of VRAM. Built on Intel Xeon processors, this platform is tailored to process AI models containing up to 150 billion parameters, designed to ease development challenges for mid-sized AI applications.
Gaudi 3 AI Accelerator Expands with PCIe Integration
Alongside the GPU introductions, Intel unveiled fresh deployment options for its Gaudi 3 AI accelerators. The company is now providing PCIe card variants optimised for scalability in current data centre settings.
The Gaudi 3 PCIe cards are aimed at offering businesses versatile solutions to operate a range of AI models, varying from small to large, across multiple server configurations. These cards complement the previously introduced rack-scale systems and broaden Gaudi 3’s functionality for enterprise AI demands.
AI Assistant Builder Now Available on GitHub
Intel also shared that its AI Assistant Builder tool is now accessible on GitHub. This tool is designed to simplify the process for developers in creating AI-powered assistants by offering pre-constructed modules and workflows customised for diverse applications.
Looking Ahead
With Computex 2025 taking place from 20-23 May in Taipei, Intel’s latest announcements highlight its ongoing commitment to AI, workstation-grade computing, and developer resources. The company’s expanded product line aims to satisfy the increasing need for high-performance, scalable hardware in an ever-evolving computing environment.
Intel’s four-decade collaboration with Taiwan’s technology ecosystem was also underscored as a vital element of its future innovation strategy.
