Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Launch in India

Motorola has recently introduced the Edge 60 Fusion in India, positioning it as a feature-rich mid-range smartphone that showcases premium design and specifications for under ₹25,000. The smartphone is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, accompanied by a curved 1.5K pOLED display, and boasts durability ratings that are seldom seen in this category, including IP68, IP69, and MIL-810H.

Following the launch of the Edge 50 Fusion in May 2024, this enhanced model elevates both performance and design, targeting users seeking a flagship-level experience at a more accessible price point.

Pricing and Availability

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is available starting at ₹22,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB version is priced at ₹24,999. Sales commence on April 9 at 12 PM, on Flipkart and Motorola India’s official website.

Prospective buyers can select from three Pantone-inspired colour options: Amazonite, Slipstream, and Zephyr.

Display and Design

The Edge 60 Fusion is equipped with a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Additionally, it features HDR10+ support, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection, and Motorola’s Water Touch 3.0 technology, ensuring smooth touch interactions, even in wet conditions.

Performance and Software

At the core of this smartphone lies the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of uMCP storage, expandable up to 1TB through microSD. The device operates on Android 15-based Hello UI and is expected to receive three years of operating system updates in addition to four years of security patches.

Camera Capabilities

The Edge 60 Fusion features a 50MP Sony LYT700C main sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), along with a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 3-in-1 light sensor located at the back. On the front, there is a 32MP camera designed for selfies and video calls, with video recording capabilities of up to 4K resolution.

AI-enhanced functionalities encompass photo enhancement, adaptive stabilisation, and a magic eraser feature. Users will also find Circle to Search, Moto Secure 3.0, Smart Connect 2.0, and Family Space 3.0 supported on this device.

Audio quality is enhanced with Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers, providing an immersive experience.

Equipped with a robust 5,500mAh battery and 68W TurboPower fast charging, Motorola assures extended battery life with rapid charging options.
