Glance AI: Transforming Online Shopping Experience
Glance AI is revolutionising online shopping with its innovative AI-native commerce platform, promising a highly personalised and visually appealing shopping adventure. This platform is accessible worldwide on both Android and iOS devices, harnessing the power of generative AI and predictive analytics to customise shopping experiences for every user.
Supported by Google, Glance AI utilises proprietary artificial intelligence models that combine visualisation technology, behavioural prediction, and real-time product mapping. Users can simply upload a selfie or an image to receive customised outfit recommendations, presented in stunning detail through AI-generated visuals instead of traditional browsing or searching.
According to the company, Glance AI’s commerce engine is informed by two decades of global shopping data and features a live commerce aspect that connects stylised looks to over 400 international brands. Glance assures users that their privacy is respected, providing complete control over personal data with an opt-in participation requirement.
Naveen Tewari, the founder and CEO of Glance, described this innovation as a pivotal advancement in digital retail, labelling it “one of the most ambitious technological efforts” in the enterprise’s evolution. He stated that Glance AI transforms the way billions of global consumers will discover, visualise, and shop, moving from intent-driven searches to inspiration and the use of intelligent, autonomous agents.
Core Technology Behind Glance AI
The fundamental technology of Glance AI consists of three essential layers: a commerce intelligence model to analyse market trends, a generative AI engine to create photorealistic visuals based on user profiles, and a transaction model that recommends products based on anticipated shopping behaviours.
Cross-Platform Functionality
Glance AI is designed to operate seamlessly across various devices and platforms, including mobile lock screens, smart TVs, third-party applications, and brand websites. Furthermore, the company is collaborating with Android smartphone manufacturers and telecom providers for deeper integrations. While the current focus is on fashion, there are intentions to diversify into beauty, accessories, and travel within the year.
