V60e is set to make its debut in India on 7 October 2025, marking the beginning of a hectic month for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Following this, Vivo will unveil its flagship X300 series in China on 13 October, before globally releasing the Origin OS on 15 October.
The V60e, which follows the V50e, will be offered in Noble Gold and Elite Purple shades. It boasts a sleek curved chassis and a quad-curved display. A robust 6500mAh battery will facilitate 90W fast charging, and Vivo has assured users that a compatible charger will be included with the device. The smartphone is also rated IP68 and IP69 for resistance against dust and water, and Vivo emphasizes an added layer of protection with “full body drop protection” combined with Diamond Shield Glass for enhanced durability.
Camera capabilities are anticipated to be a standout feature. The V60e is equipped with a dual-rear camera system, featuring a 200MP optically stabilised primary sensor that provides 85mm portrait options, 30x zoom, and an “AI Festival Portrait” mode. It pairs with an 8MP ultrawide camera that includes an Aura Light module, and the front is fitted with a 50MP selfie camera, which includes eye autofocus and offers a 92-degree field of view.
The smartphone will run on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, with assurances from Vivo for three major Android updates and five years’ worth of security patches. A variety of artificial intelligence functionalities will be included, featuring AI Captions, Gemini, AI Four Season Portrait, and an Image Expander.
While the exact pricing in the Indian market has yet to be officially disclosed, it is reported that the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage may be approximately ₹28,999, while the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage could be around ₹30,999. The high-end model offering 12GB RAM with 256GB storage is predicted to be priced at ₹31,999.
The V60e is set to continue the momentum established by the V50e, which is currently available at ₹26,999, by introducing enhancements such as a more advanced camera, enriched AI features, and a larger battery.
