Zanskar Technology Secures Funding for Enhanced Trading Infrastructure
Zanskar Technology, a company focused on quantitative trading and execution infrastructure, has successfully raised Rs 25 crore ($2.7 million) from BlackSoil Capital. Based in Mumbai, this startup receives support from Peak XV Partners. The newly acquired funds will be directed towards strengthening its institutional presence and further investing in advanced trading infrastructure, according to a recent press announcement.

Founded in 2022, Zanskar Technology operates in the quantitative trading sector, offering both institutional and retail brokerage services via its platform known as Nubra. This platform delivers low-latency, institutional-level execution to a diverse array of market participants.
Services Offered by Nubra
Nubra provides execution and brokerage services tailored for institutional clients, such as Asset Management Companies (AMCs), Portfolio Management Services (PMS)/Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), venture capital and private equity firms, family offices, and proprietary trading desks. The firm is also in the process of developing infrastructure for market-making activities in international markets.
Technology Stack
According to Zanskar Technology, Nubra is powered by a completely in-house technology stack encompassing proprietary Order Management Systems (OMS) and Risk Management Systems (RMS), alongside exchange co-located infrastructure and low-latency execution algorithms. Within just six months of its launch, the platform has successfully onboarded several institutional clients and acts as an authorised market maker for various ETF products. Nubra’s retail segment has also made significant progress, with more than 25,000 demat accounts established, offering individual investors institutional-level execution.
BlackSoil Capital’s Role
Established in 2016, BlackSoil focuses on providing alternative credit solutions to rapidly growing and underserved new-economy businesses, catering to their short- and long-term capital requirements. Its investment portfolio boasts eleven unicorns and fourteen publicly listed companies.
