HiLITE Group Celebrates 30 Years with Employee Car Gifts and Expansion Plans

HiLITE Group has celebrated its 30-year journey by gifting 47 cars valued at Rs 20 crore to its employees, honouring those who have contributed to its growth.

The vehicles—spanning luxury brands like Range Rover, Audi Q8, and Land Rover Defender, along with popular SUVs such as Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Skoda Kylaq—were distributed as part of the anniversary events.

Major Expansion Plans Unveiled

During the same event, HiLITE Group announced an ambitious plan to expand by 50 million square feet across Kerala by 2030.

The organisation anticipates that this expansion will create over two hundred thousand jobs within the state.

This roadmap features IT parks, commercial hubs, and integrated urban ecosystems, aiming to enhance Kerala’s global investment and business prominence.

Leadership Insights

P. Sulaiman, the Chairman of HiLITE Group, expressed that for three decades the company has been dedicated to developing Kerala’s finer aspects. The goal is to establish inspirational spaces that will endure over time.

Ajil Muhammed, the CEO, added that the scale of the project reflects their confidence in Kerala’s future. The projects are strategically designed to improve Kerala’s standing in the global economy while bolstering local opportunities.

Landmark Projects and Developments

Since its establishment in 1996, HiLITE Group has created numerous iconic projects, including Focus Mall, which is recognized as Kerala’s first organised retail space, as well as HiLITE Malls in Calicut and Thrissur. Currently, ten additional malls are under construction throughout the state.

At HiLITE City, which employs roughly 10,000 staff, the Group is developing one of the largest World Trade Center projects anywhere. This ambitious initiative will cover 12.5 million square feet and is projected to require an investment of $680 million.
