Zinit: AI-Driven Procurement Platform Raises $8 Million
AI-driven procurement platform Zinit has secured $8 million in a seed funding round led by AltaIR Capital, placing the company’s valuation at $48 million. Early-stage investor DVC, reputable for its investments in Perplexity, also joined this round and intends to bolster Zinit’s AI strategy.
The funds will be allocated towards product development and global growth. In line with its international expansion efforts, Zinit has appointed Michel Boczko as Regional Director for Latin America and Stan Moskovtsev, a former McKinsey executive, as CEO for the US. Additionally, Naveenn Suri has been brought on board as Regional Director for India, tasked with enhancing enterprise adoption within the local market. Suri previously led EY’s SAP Ariba practice and carries over twenty years of experience in procurement and supply chain transformation.
Targeting India as a Key Market
Zinit is prioritising India as a rapidly emerging market as businesses transition to digital procurement solutions. The platform asserts its capability to automate various processes, including supplier discovery, RFP creation, and multi-round negotiations for enterprises. According to Zinit, procurement teams utilizing its platform can expedite sourcing cycles by up to 40% and slash expenses by as much as 30%.
Client Network and Pricing Model
The company reports that it is already collaborating with over 100 enterprise clients, including notable names like Bacardi India, UFLEX Limited, and United Colors of Benetton. Furthermore, Zinit has cultivated a network of more than 100,000 suppliers.
Zinit operates on a success-fee and SaaS-based pricing structure, guaranteeing audit-ready trails for compliance as part of its service offerings.
