Coralogix, a well-established observability platform, announced on Monday that it has acquired Aporia, an innovative startup specialising in providing businesses with tools to monitor and secure their AI workloads. Aporia’s technology implements necessary guardrails to prevent hallucinations or unintended data disclosures. Following this acquisition, Coralogix will launch a dedicated AI research centre, Coralogix AI, under the leadership of Aporia co-founders, CEO Liran Hason and CTO Alon Gubkin. The integration of Aporia’s technology into Coralogix’s services is part of this new initiative.
“This acquisition represents a crucial advancement for us. Leveraging Aporia’s technology and expertise, the numerous AI teams currently utilising Coralogix will gain enhanced visibility, protection, and control over their AI systems,” stated Coralogix CEO Ariel Assaraf.
The primary objective of this acquisition is to develop a comprehensive monitoring platform that supports both AI and traditional workloads. This platform will provide users with insights into their data pipelines, infrastructure, applications, and AI systems. Coralogix, established in 2014, offers a wide array of monitoring, analytics, and security services, alongside AI tools within its platform. However, it lacked specialised tools for monitoring AI systems, and acquiring Aporia effectively addresses this gap.
Founded in 2019, Aporia had already centred its focus on machine learning prior to the recent surge in interest surrounding large language models. The company has raised a total of $30 million since its inception, including a $25 million Series A funding round in 2022. Investors in Aporia include prominent names such as Tiger Global, TLV Partners, Samsung Next, and Vertex Ventures.
While the acquisition price remains undisclosed, this announcement aligns with a broader trend where larger platforms are systematically acquiring specialised solutions as enterprises increasingly favour full-stack platforms for their operational needs.
