Hyundai Motor India Limited at Purple Jallosh 2025 for Inclusivity
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), through its ‘Samarth by Hyundai’ initiative, took a prominent role at Purple Jallosh 2025, a lively three-day festival that promotes inclusiveness and empowerment for individuals with disabilities. The event, hosted at the Auto Cluster in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, showcased over 60 exhibitors, including Hyundai Motor India Limited, focusing on accessibility innovations, talents, and solutions.
Initiated in November 2023, ‘Samarth by Hyundai’ is dedicated to cultivating a more inclusive society by meeting the mobility requirements of persons with disabilities. Hyundai Motor India Limited’s participation in Purple Jallosh naturally complemented this mission, embodying its ethos of “Progress for Humanity.”
Celebrating Creativity and Community
Purple Jallosh 2025 highlighted the creativity, talent, and strength of the differently abled community. The event attracted thousands of attendees, including individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and organisations committed to advocacy for accessibility and equality.

Notable attendees included Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra Governor Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, and Shri Rajesh Agarwal, Secretary of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
Activities Promoting Inclusivity
Participants enjoyed a variety of activities celebrating empowerment and inclusivity. Cultural performances, including dance and art displays, showcased the skills of the differently abled. Workshops and exhibits facilitated interactive sessions focused on assistive technology, skill enhancement, and accessibility innovations, yielding essential insights into inclusive advancements. Panel discussions convened experts and NGOs to discuss strategies for enhancing accessibility. Additionally, adaptive sports promoted physical health through leisure activities tailored for individuals with disabilities. A unique drum circle workshop fostered musical engagement in an interactive atmosphere.

Assistive Technology Showcased
At the festival, Hyundai Motor India Limited presented one of its assistive car accessories, Turn Plus (Swivel Seat) technology, designed specifically for passengers facing mobility challenges. The display functioned as an interactive area where attendees could experience the assistive technology directly and discover how thoughtful modifications to vehicles can enhance everyday transport for persons with disabilities.
Pledging for Inclusivity
Along with showcasing assistive gadgets, Hyundai Motor India Limited encouraged visitors to make a promise for inclusivity through the Samarth Pledge Wall. This initiative highlighted the necessity for awareness and a unified effort to dismantle mobility barriers for individuals with disabilities.
Significant Footfall and Community Engagement
Purple Jallosh 2025 enjoyed an impressive daily turnout of over 12,000, culminating in over 40,000 attendees throughout the three-day event. The festival united persons with disabilities, caregivers, and advocates for accessibility, celebrating inclusivity through performances, creative stalls, and adaptive sports.
Diverse Event Highlights
The festival featured a rich array of events, including an energetic drumming session, dance showcases from children, various educational and cultural presentations, and a convention for new poets with disabilities. A special fashion show exhibited uniquely designed clothing for the differently abled, emphasising accessibility in the fashion industry.
Highlights included a musical performance by children from the Divyang Bharat Foundation, and a Ganesh Vandane dance presented by hearing-impaired Bharatanatyam artist Prerana Sahane. The festival also featured Miracle on Wheels, a revolutionary wheelchair dance troupe that shattered barriers and captivated audiences with their dynamic performances.
Purple Solvathon 2025
Additionally, fifty teams from across India participated in Purple Solvathon 2025, an innovative flagship project under the Purple Jallosh initiative, where young creators collaborated to devise practical solutions for accessibility and inclusion for persons with disabilities. Workshops centred on assistive technology, skill development, and breakthroughs in accessibility enriched the event, highlighting Hyundai Motor India Limited’s dedication to empowering individuals and fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
Other exhibitors at Purple Jallosh included Enablemart Torchit, Deeptstambh Foundation, Evolution Healthcare, and numerous others, showcasing a collective endeavour to promote inclusion and accessibility across various sectors.
