TrueFan AI Gains Bajaj Finance Stake in AI Video Technology

Bajaj Finance, a segment of Bajaj Finserv, has obtained a 5% share in TrueFan AI, a platform specialising in AI-driven video generation. This Gurugram-based startup had earlier attracted $10 million through a Series A funding round led by Baring Private Equity Partners India and Z3 Partners in June of this year. Established in 2020 by Devender Bindal, Nimish Goel, and Nevaid Aggarwal, TrueFan AI delivers an enterprise-level AI video platform that employs generative AI to produce hyper-personalized, studio-quality videos and avatars from a single recording. The platform assists over 100 enterprise clients in enhancing video marketing efforts across international markets.

TrueFan AI aims to extend its reach beyond India into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. The company has already noted a demand from various regions. Its deep-learning algorithms can generate up to 500,000 localized videos per minute in more than 175 languages by synthesizing facial dynamics, gestures, and voice.

The startup caters to more than 100 enterprise clients, including notable names like HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, Zomato, Cipla, and BharatPe. The platform empowers these companies to produce AI-powered, personalized videos at scale, using celebrity avatars, business leaders, and enterprise spokespersons.

The flagship offering of the company, TF Studio, allows brands to generate personalized messages in bulk, tailor content for different markets, and use realistic brand ambassador avatars. TrueFan AI reported revenues of Rs 17.1 crore (around $2 million) for FY25, reflecting a 131% increase year-on-year. Bajaj Finance has leveraged TrueFan’s platform extensively, creating millions of personalized videos aimed at improving customer engagement and supporting dealer enablement initiatives. This strategy aligns with Bajaj Finance’s broader aim of integrating AI-led automation and personalization within its digital framework.
