Voice-First AI Tutoring Platform YoLearn.ai Secures Seed Funding
Voice-first AI tutoring platform YoLearn.ai has successfully secured an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round spearheaded by ABP Education, the educational division of ABP Group. Previously, the Noida-based startup obtained $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round, achieving a valuation of $5 million. This funding round was co-led by DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global, supplemented by contributions from several angel investors.
Collaboration with ABP Education
With the new funding, ABP Education will lend its support to YoLearn.ai through content development, marketing strategies, and distribution channels. This collaboration aims to equip K-12 students across India with personalised AI tutoring services.
Integration with Educational Resources
As part of this alliance, ABP Group’s subsidiaries, Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning, will collaborate with YoLearn.ai to transform their educational materials into content-aligned AI tutors, accessible via Headword.ai and kipslearning.ai. Students will be able to engage with these AI tutors through the school textbooks they already use in their classrooms.
Widespread Educational Reach
The partnership encompasses a significant network of approximately 25,000 schools, potentially reaching around 100 million learners. The partners aspire to engage 150 million students while also training more than 150,000 teachers in AI-driven classroom instruction. The long-range vision includes delivering personalised AI learning to 250 million K-12 students across India.
Innovative Learning Solutions
Founded in January 2025 by Kirti Prakash Mishra, YoLearn.ai enables students to scan a code in their textbooks to interact with an AI tutor using voice commands. The platform supports multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and other regional dialects, covering a total of 22 Indian languages.
Features of YoLearn.ai
The AI tutor provides voice answers, diagrams, and step-by-step solutions through an interactive sketchpad. Additionally, it offers practice tests, evaluates responses based on board exam marking criteria, predicts scores, and sends updates to parents. The platform is compatible with CBSE, ICSE, and various state boards.
Assistance for Teachers and Administrators
Moreover, YoLearn.ai provides educators with a Co-Teacher Avatar tailored to their teaching style, along with over 50 AI-assisted tools for lesson planning, worksheets, homework, assessments, quizzes, and classroom presentations. School administrators can access dashboards that reflect learning outcomes, identify areas of weakness, and track student progress.
Market Competition
The startup faces competition from various players in the industry, including SiglQ.AI, Fermi.AI, Arivihan.AI, CK-12, MagicSchool.AI, and Lytmus.AI.
