SaaS Firm Amagi Reports Strong Financial Results in Q1 FY27

SaaS firm Amagi has showcased impressive financial performance, achieving a net profit of Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY27. The operating revenue saw a significant increase of 32% in the same quarter.

According to Amagi’s consolidated financial statements submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE), operating revenue escalated to Rs 437 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 330 crore in Q1 FY26. Established in 2008, Amagi offers a cloud-based advertising platform designed for connected TV (CTV) and programmatic advertising, empowering brands to execute targeted campaigns across various streaming platforms. The majority of the company’s revenue is generated from international markets, particularly in the US.

Quarterly Revenue Growth

On a quarterly comparison, Amagi’s revenue revealed a 10% rise from Rs 397 crore in Q4 FY26. Additionally, the firm recorded Rs 18 crore in non-operating income during this quarter, leading to an overall income of Rs 454 crore.

Expense Overview

While the financial statements did not provide a comprehensive breakdown of expenses, nearly half of the total expenses were attributed to employee benefits. Total expenses grew 22% year-on-year, standing at Rs 414 crore in Q1 FY27, up from Rs 338 crore in the same period last year.

Profit After Tax Increase

Although Amagi’s revenue advancement exceeded the rise in expenses, the profit after tax soared 8.5 times to Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 4 crore in the same quarter the previous year. Sequentially, profit remained consistent compared to the last quarter.

Stock Market Performance

Amagi made its debut on Indian stock exchanges at a 12% premium, with shares listed at Rs 317 each. Remarkably, within less than six months since its public listing, the stock price has more than doubled. As of 1:17 PM on Thursday, shares are trading around Rs 679, providing the company with a market capitalization of Rs 14,695 crore (approximately $1.54 billion).
