AI Edtech Startup Arivihan Raises $10 Million in Series A Round
AI Edtech startup Arivihan has successfully secured Rs 95.86 crore, equivalent to $10 million, in a Series A funding round that is co-led by its existing investors, Accel and Prosus. This marks the second fundraising initiative for the two-year-old company within a span of 15 months. Recent regulatory filings obtained by Startup Superb reveal that the company’s board approved the issuance of 4,648 Series A CCPS at an issue price of Rs 2,06,248.06 per share in order to raise the aforementioned amount.
Investment Details
Accel and Prosus will each contribute Rs 47.48 crore to this funding round. Additionally, angel investors including Dinesh Chandra Agrawal, Dinesh Gulati, Rajesh Sawhney (Founder and CEO of GSF Accelerator), and Gaurav Kapur have come together to invest approximately Rs 91 lakh in this Series A round.
Valuation and Future Plans
According to estimates provided by Startup Superb, Arivihan’s valuation has surged nearly 3.3 times to around Rs 570 crore in this Series A funding compared to Rs 171 crore during the previous pre-Series A round. The company intends to utilise the newly raised capital to address its working capital needs and facilitate both expansion and growth efforts.
The Indore-based organisation previously attracted $4.17 million (around Rs 36 crore) in a pre-Series A round, spearheaded by Prosus and Accel along with participation from GSF Investors. Established in 2024 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan focuses on providing AI-driven personalised learning solutions for students in tier-II cities and rural regions, offering coaching, doubt resolution, and tailored study plans for Class 12, CBSE, and NEET.
A report by Moneycontrol had previously indicated that Arivihan was in discussions to secure approximately $10–12 million in its Series A funding round. Following this latest allotment, Accel India and Prosus will hold stakes of 23.54% and 18.57%, respectively. Rajesh Sawhney, Dinesh Chandra Agrawal, Dinesh Gulati, and Gaurav Kapur will possess stakes of 1.71%, 1.32%, 0.96%, and 0.66%, correspondingly.
The company has yet to submit its FY26 financial statements. In FY25, Arivihan’s revenue experienced a significant increase of nearly 14.8 times, reaching Rs 3.14 crore, compared to Rs 21.29 lakh in FY24, although the company faced a loss of Rs 4.45 crore.
