Atomberg Achieves 34.8% Revenue Growth in FY26

Atomberg, a prominent brand in consumer appliances, witnessed a remarkable 34.8% year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching Rs 1,294 crore in FY26, despite facing an expansion in losses throughout the year. The financial details of the company were provided in its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP).

Located in Mumbai, Atomberg specializes in energy-efficient brushless direct current (BLDC) and smart fans. The brand also offers a range of products including mixer grinders, smart locks, water purifiers, and juicers. In FY26, the home appliances segment emerged as Atomberg’s primary revenue contributor, generating Rs 1,153 crore, which represented nearly 89% of its operational revenue. This sector showed a growth of 23.1% from Rs 937 crore recorded in FY25.

The growth in Atomberg’s kitchen appliances division was particularly notable, with revenue soaring more than sixfold to Rs 124 crore in FY26, up from Rs 19.3 crore in the prior fiscal year. Additionally, the company recorded Rs 17.2 crore from proprietary components, an increase from Rs 3.63 crore in FY25. Other income was noted at Rs 30 crore, resulting in a total income of Rs 1,324 crore in FY26, compared to Rs 1,001 crore the previous year.

On the expense side, the cost of materials emerged as the largest expenditure for Atomberg at Rs 738 crore, which constituted 50.55% of its total costs. This expense surged by 37.9% from Rs 535 crore in FY25. Employee benefits also saw an increase, climbing 32.1% to Rs 210 crore, up from Rs 159 crore. Advertising and promotional expenditures amounted to Rs 135 crore, while labour charges and depreciation costs were Rs 57 crore and Rs 71 crore, respectively.

In total, Atomberg’s overall expenditure rose by 30.6% to Rs 1,460 crore in FY26 from Rs 1,118 crore in FY25. This rise in costs impacted profitability, leading to a net loss increase of 27.4% to Rs 149 crore, up from Rs 117 crore in FY25. Nevertheless, Atomberg managed to reduce its EBITDA loss to Rs 50 crore, down from Rs 61 crore during the same time frame.

Atomberg’s EBITDA margin experienced improvement, reaching -3.86% in FY26 compared to -6.35% in FY25, while return on capital employed (ROCE) also bettered, moving to -22.08% from -24.50%. For every rupee of operating revenue in FY26, Atomberg spent Rs 1.13, a slight decrease from Rs 1.16 in FY25. As of March 2026, Atomberg reported current assets valued at Rs 790 crore, which included Rs 41 crore in cash and bank balances.

Recently, Atomberg filed its DRHP, which includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 450 crore alongside an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 7.65 crore shares. The IPO is part of Atomberg’s strategy to enhance its footprint within the expanding consumer appliances market. The company is in competition with well-established brands like Havells, Crompton, and Usha while diversifying its offerings beyond just fans into a broader range of home and kitchen appliances.
