Auxano Capital Exits EduGorilla with Strong Returns
Auxano Capital, a registered venture capital firm under SEBI, has successfully exited its investment in the test-prep and edtech platform EduGorilla Community, achieving an impressive 5.5X return on the capital invested. Auxano made its initial investment in EduGorilla in 2020 during the company’s first institutional funding round, following the startup’s angel investments.
Since that time, the Lucknow-based startup has experienced a remarkable revenue growth of 50X, secured six patents, ventured into Software as a Service (SaaS) aimed at B2B clients in 2022, and launched a groundbreaking GenAI product that now serves prominent global developers of large language models.
Brijesh Damodaran, managing partner at Auxano Capital, noted that while increased competition created challenges to growth, the determination of the founders remained unwavering. He stated that a partial exit had been completed from the fund’s perspective, and there is optimism for further potential as they continue to benefit from the growth trajectory.
This successful exit represents Auxano’s fifth in total, with three exits occurring within the current year alone. Earlier in 2025, the firm partially exited from Primebook and fully stepped away from Wiom.
Established in 2016, Auxano Capital manages a diverse portfolio exceeding 35 companies across various sectors, including Industry 4.0, fintech, sustainability, distribution enablement, and enterprise solutions.
