Bellatrix Aerospace: Innovative Spacetech Startup Raising Funding
Bellatrix Aerospace, a leading spacetech startup, is poised to secure Rs 26 crore (around $3 million) in a pre-Series B funding round. This round is backed by existing investors such as Inflexor Ventures, StartupXseed Ventures, Pavestone VC, Survan Partners, among others. Previously, Bellatrix Aerospace successfully raised $8 million in its Series A funding round, which was led by BASF Venture Capital in June 2022.
Regulatory filings from the Registrar of Companies (RoC) indicate that the board at Bellatrix has approved a resolution to issue 4,873 pre-Series B compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at an issue price of Rs 53,450 each, aimed at raising the specified funds. The company has already secured Rs 10.8 crore and anticipates receiving the remaining funds shortly.
Startup Superbs’ evaluations suggest that the company’s valuation is currently at Rs 314 crore or $37 million, indicating a stable valuation compared to the previous funding round.

Data from various startup intelligence platforms indicates that the Bengaluru-based startup has raised approximately $12.5 million to date from investors, including StartupXseed Ventures and Pavestone VC. For the financial year ending in 2024, the spacetech startup recorded Rs 2 crore in operating revenue, while incurring a loss of Rs 12.35 crore during the same period.
