BlackBuck’s Impressive Financial Growth in Q2 FY27
BlackBuck reported a 56% year-on-year rise in operating revenue for Q2 FY27, while net profit showed a 42% growth. The primary revenue source for the company remained its core truck operator services, whereas the lending segment contributed less significantly. Nevertheless, total expenses escalated more rapidly than revenues, though reduced tax payments enhanced net profit this quarter.
According to unaudited financial results submitted to BSE, BlackBuck’s consolidated operational revenue climbed to Rs 235 crore for the quarter concluding in September 2026, a significant increase from the same timeframe last year. The Bengaluru-based firm runs a digital platform tailored for truck operators and fleet owners, providing services that include trucking operations and lending. The truck operator services encompass the main logistics platform, while the lending segment diversifies revenue streams.
Financial Performance of Truck Operator Services
The truck operator services division recorded revenues of Rs 232 crore in Q2 FY27, growing from Rs 148.7 crore during the prior year. This segment contributed nearly 99% to the operating revenue. In contrast, the lending business’s revenue grew to Rs 3.4 crore, up from Rs 2.8 crore, yet it continued to report a loss of Rs 1.7 crore compared to a loss of Rs 77.5 lakh in the same quarter last year.
