Blinkit Expands Large Order Fleet in Delhi and Gurugram
Blinkit, the quick commerce platform under Zomato, has launched an extensive fleet specifically designed for handling large orders in Delhi and Gurugram. This new initiative features a range of all-electric vehicles, optimised for carrying bulk items such as electronics and party supplies.
Albinder Dhindsa, Founder and CEO, shared on X:
“Introducing Blinkit’s large order fleet! These all-electric vehicles are uniquely equipped to manage large orders, including electronics and party essentials. We are currently operational in Delhi and Gurugram, with plans to extend this initiative to other cities very soon. We’ll be delivering an air hockey table order using one of these vehicles and then heading to the office!”
Service Expansion Plans
Blinkit is poised to further broaden its services across additional cities in the near future. Earlier this month, the platform made its debut in Jammu, where it currently operates three stores. The delivery areas include:
- Trikuta Nagar
- Roop Nagar
- Akhnoor Road
