Care.fi: Transforming Healthcare Financing with Rs 6 Crore Funding

Care.fi, a fintech startup focused on healthcare, has successfully acquired Rs 6 crore in debt funding from RevX. This funding will bolster its operations related to the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which now benefits over 550 million individuals and encompasses more than 29,000 empanelled hospitals as of June 2024.

Government Support for Healthcare Initiatives

Market research indicates that government spending on healthcare has increased to 1.84% of GDP, facilitating initiatives such as AB-PMJAY.

About Care.fi

Founded by Sidak Singh and Vikrant Agrawal, Care.fi delivers tech-driven financial solutions tailored for healthcare providers. The startup asserts that it has disbursed over Rs 800 crore to more than 100 hospitals and obtained a non-banking financial company (NBFC) license within just two years of its establishment.

Plans for Future Growth

Care.fi aims to leverage its expertise in backend operations to facilitate quicker claim settlements and enhance cash flow management for hospitals as the scheme transitions to a more centralised model.
